Blue Max Leather Club Continues Support for Project ARK This Holiday Season

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Living its motto of "doing something good... in leather", Blue Max CC presented a $1,000 donation at their monthly club night held at JJ's Clubhouse to Project ARK, Friday night.

"Blue Max has had a long relationship with Project ARK," said Adam Shaw, Blue Max president. "Each year the club donates 10 holiday meals for both Thanksgiving and Christmas for families affected by HIV and AIDS. This year we were fortunate enough to raise extra funds and are happy to give more to this amazing organization."

Founded in 1975, Blue Max is the oldest leather club in St. Louis. The non-profit focuses on building relationships in the leather and LGBT communities while providing charitable and educational resources for the community.

Since 1995, Project ARK has been dedicated to providing support for those infected and affected by HIV, and those at-risk of acquiring HIV. The organization offers HIV and STD testing, HIV medical care, case management, mental health counseling, support groups, peer support, and more.
