New member elections for the PSL board will be held on Monday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Pride St. Louis offices (3738 Chouteau Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63110.)

PSL will be accepting an unlimited number of applications with the process requiring applicants to be nominated by a sitting member of the board. Nominations are due by this Sunday, July 26 at midnight or may also be made by voice on Aug. 10 by a sitting board member. PSL stresses that while one year of service (whether on committee or volunteering) at Pride St. Louis is encouraged, all applications will be considered.

Wednesday's election was held by electronic vote. Matt Harper, Jason Morgan, Ellen Vanscoy, Marty Zuniga and Todd Alan were either self-nominated or nominated by a fellow board member and received a majority vote for another two year term. Dennis Gorg and Mitch Perry-Cox did not self-nominate or receive a nomination from a fellow board member.

PSL officer elections will be held following the Aug. 10 vote when the new board is seated.

Also to be held on Aug. 10 will be PSL's annual meeting to report on the finances of the organization and introduce the newly elected board for the 2015-2016 year. Both elections and the annual meeting are open to the public.
