The Riverbend Rainbow Community Connection is a new LGBTQIA+ group forming in the Riverbend area of Illinois, which includes parts of Madison, Calhoun, and Jersey counties.
Organizers are reaching out to the LGBTQIA+ and ally community to make connections, build support, and share resources for the Riverbend rainbow community.
The public is invited to attend an organizing meeting at St. John's UCC (216 North St., Brighton, IL 62012) on Thursday, November 29th at 7 p.m. to form groups and share resources. The meeting is handicap accessible and open to all ages, identities, and organizations interested in improving the Riverbend LGBTQIA+ Community.
