ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The 2016 edition of Pride Idol wrapped up on Thursday, April 21 at Just John nightclub in the Grove with Daveeda Lewis winning the judges vote and Tori Carlson proving the audience favorite. Both singers have earned their respective spots to perform on the Bud Light Main Stage at St. Louis PrideFest in June.

The annual fundraiser for Pride St. Louis, Inc., organizers of the annual LGBT PrideFest, kicked off on May 31 with three weeks of Karaoke competition leading up to Thursday's finale. This year's event was the most successful to date raising over $5K. Just John also donated a portion of their ring each week to Pride.

In addition to their spot on the Bud Light Main Stage, the winners also received a cash prize, tickets to the Bud Light VIP Experience, a cocktail night for 6 at Taha'a Twisted Tiki Bar, a selection of wine and spirits from Pinnacle Vodka and Cruzan Rum, gift cards from local bars, restaurants and attractions; Missouri Lottery scratchers tickets, and more.

St. Louis PrideFest 2016 will be held downtown St. Louis at Soldier's Memorial June 24, 25 and 26, 2016.
