ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Preparations for PrideFest 2019 are underway as organizers reveal the dates, location and theme of next year's celebration. The Pride St. Louis Board of Directors announced in a letter to vendors that PrideFest 2019 will take place the weekend of June 29 - 30, 2019 at the newly renovated Soldier's Memorial downtown.

Black Pride St. Louis introduced its 2018 -2019 Board of Directors at a Meet & Greet Happy Hour event on Thursday at Evangeline's Bistro & Music House in the Central West End.

Founded in 1994 as the BBoy Blues Festival, St. Louis Black Pride is the nation's second oldest African American pride organization. Their mission is to serve as a resource for the under-served LGBTQIA+ community and be a catalyst for unity, empowerment and pride.

The national award-winning and out & proud comedian, Dana Goldberg, will return to St Louis on Friday, November 9th for a special one night performance at the historic Sheldon Concert Hall & Art Galleries at 8 p.m. benefiting Pride St. Charles.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The annual Pride St. Louis, Inc. (PSL) Board elections were held on Aug. 13th selecting four new directors and re-electing four directors whose terms were up this year. The now 17 member 2018-2019 PSL Board of Directors will oversee next year's 40th anniversary PrideFest, PrideCenter, and numerous other events and fundraisers.
